About Lauren

I love interesting architecture, creative interior design, the smell of fresh wood and paint, historic old homes and beautiful new luxury construction, and especially helping people with everything from buying a mansion to finding a great source for discount hardwood floors. I especially enjoy helping people who are downsizing get top dollar for their beautiful luxury homes, those who have inherited a home and don't know what to do or those who are new to our area find a home and get settled in (I've been known to help find pediatricians and music lessons as well as home related items!) and providing excellent service during the escrow process. I also love all animals, especially horses, dogs and cats, and enjoy helping the community with charity work with my church and the Orthopaedic Institute for Children.

After a successful career as an aerospace/high tech industry executive, I changed to Real Estate in 2004 because, having been married to one of the regions top contemporary architects since 1989, I kept noticing how much fun houses were! I find that my education as a Mechanical Engineer from MIchigan State University, my MBA from USC, and my previous experience negotiating and managing extremely complex projects makes me a better Realtor because I understand how houses are built and I am not intimidated by hard work, I am organized and a great negotiator!

This background has taught me to problem solve and approach problems logically. My inherent design sense is great for clients too -- for Sellers, I can help stage properties and make them look great for very little money, and for Buyers, I can help them see how the well priced "ugly duckling" property can quickly become a swan! Being married to an award winning architect helps my clients as we can quickly get his opinion of potential redesigns too.

I am licensed in three states -- Oregon where I primarily work in Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas counties, Washington where I focus on Clark County, and California where I work in Los Angeles county, especially the South Bay beach cities and Palos Verdes area.   I have been a  coach for Tom Ferry International since 2021, helping to share my knowledge of cutting edge marketing techniques.  I also am AI Certified by Krem Institute.
