Born to a prominent family in Bangladesh, Samina Chowdhury grew up speaking five languages fluently – Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and English. Although Bengali is her first language she was able to speak fluently in Hindi & Urdu because of her maternal side of the family who originated from India.
