About Sarah

Hello from Chatham on Cape Cod! I help my clients bring their real estate ideas to life. My focus is on offering value. I do this by being an advisor and guide who knows the right questions to ask, gives clear options, structures deals for success, offers a network of resources, and helps anticipate and avert roadblocks. Of course, doing this with optimism and friendliness is a must.

Experience

Being in real estate has been a great continuation of my business background. I co-founded a successful e-commerce company over 15 years ago, building on my experience in both corporate and start-up marketing. I had always loved real estate and, after investing in and renovating both residential and commercial properties, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to become an agent.

My experience as an entrepreneur means that I can handle fast-paced, multi-faceted transactions, go the extra mile to make things happen, and come up with creative solutions to solve problems. I understand how important it is to respond quickly, provide great communication, and think outside the box, being that trusted guide who will go to bat for you.

Buying or selling property is a big deal, involving serious assets and myriad decisions, and each transaction is different. I enjoy the challenge of putting the pieces together, helping clients be successful while also protecting their interests.

Cape Cod

The waterside living, historic towns, and conservation efforts that make the Cape so alluring are accompanied by a labyrinth of regulations that you need to know when buying or selling a home here. Flood zones, building restrictions, changes in rental regulations, and septic requirements are just a few things to consider. As your agent, this is part of the service I provide and I enjoy the research required to learn about a property. My background and passion for real estate have made this one of my core strengths and I have cultivated a network of experts I can consult.

Personal

The I love the natural beauty, charming towns, outdoorsy lifestyle, and artistic culture of Cape Cod. Growing up in Cincinnati, I had great memories of visiting in the summers, and when my parents retired in Chatham over 30 years ago, it became a new home base. Even though I lived in Boston, then Boulder, I always had one foot on the Cape, with a house in Orleans, staying longer and longer with each visit. I am delighted to live here full-time now with my husband and princely mutt, Dabu.

You'll find me riding bikes on the rail trail, taking requisite beach walks, watching bayside sunsets, kayaking, having coffee at the Snowy Owl or Jo Mamas, relaxing on the terrace at Chatham Bars Inn, hearing live music, and seeing indie movies at the Orpheum or Cape Cinema. So much to do around here!

In addition to thriving on real estate and business, I always have a pile of books and magazines I'm reading, and relish interior design, Pilates, plant-based cooking, and volunteering for animals.

Fun fact: Chatham and I share the same birthday (Gemini) - thankfully not the same year.
