I don't even know where to start. First time home buyer, moving out of the only state I've ever lived in, and the whole covid situation made everything seem so overwhelming. I am so thankful Fether was there to guide me through it all. She kept in constant communication throughout the whole process and when things got delayed from the seller's side Fether would always keep me updated as soon as possible. When we first moved to the area and began looking at houses, we were feeling discouraged at the lack of options within our price range. We began preparing for the possibility of staying with family long-term, when along came Fether. She agreed to meet us at a listing despite knowing that we hadn’t been pre-approved yet for a loan. She hand-led us, first-time buyers, through the process of getting funding, finding a home, putting in an offer, and closing on a house. Despite the horror stories of people waiting a year and being outbid on multiple offers, Fether somehow helped us find a beautiful home in our price range and wrote up a clean offer that got us accepted on the first try. She was always available to answer questions, was very communicative, and gave us great advice that got us into our new home with as little fuss as one could expect. About Fether

Fether Dugan comes from a 13-year career in customer service as the Director of Sales and Operations for a local Reno software company.  One of her key roles was to review and understand the customer’s needs, ensure they were translated into the software design, and manage the project through installation and into operation.  Fether highlights her listening skills and attention to detail as key assets she brings with her in representing clients in real estate transactions. 

Fether has always had a passion for real estate, continuously researching and educating herself about market trends and valuations.  She is very familiar with all the various neighborhoods throughout the region. Fether has purchased and sold several of her own single-family homes over the past 20 years, including a rental property which she directly managed and maintained.  She also loves design and decorating, and enjoys taking on home improvement and “DIY” projects.

Fether feels fortunate to have been married to the love of her life and best friend, Scott, for nearly 20 years.  They are proud parents of two teenage boys, Connor and Riley. The family is not complete without their two fur babies. Fether’s greatest happiness comes from spending family time together, taking the dogs on weekly hikes on the local creek trails, and hanging out with her close group of friends. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, trying new recipes, and baking in her free time.

Fether is grateful to live in and be a part of the Reno-Sparks community which offers a diverse array of culture and events while providing year-round access to unlimited outdoor activities and one of most gorgeous lakes in the world, Lake Tahoe.  She loves the beauty and opportunity each of the four seasons offers across the stunning desert and mountain landscapes.  Whether it’s snowshoeing and skiing in the winter, rafting and kayaking in the summer, or hiking and biking year round, there is always something to do.
